Before they die they stop making the scared face they were making. For example, they are being strangled for a long time and they are making a surprised scared face, then just before they die there face goes all plain?

im guessing that when you die your muscles stop working so they just go relax and they stop making the face

so oxygen enables you to make a scared face? >_> really i'm sure there's more to that. This isn't a stupid question at all. Because have you noticed that if someone dies holding an object, their muscles tend to strengthen, therefore making it hard to take that object out of the corpse's hand. But how come this doesn't apply to one's face?
