Just looking for advice. :) My whole life, I've been shut up, emotionally, due to abuse in the family. I've never had a relationship before, and I'm sure it is due to my inability to open up to people. On more than one occasion, I have been told that I come off as uninterested and guarded to guys. How...exactly do I open myself up to a person? You wont be able to do it all at once, but someone is going to care enough to jump over that wall you've built. I just...don't get how to take down the "wall". I'm not quite sure what I'm doing to keep it up in the first place, really.
