Skipping prescription medications is not good at all. They will most likely be able to contact either your physician or your local pharmacy back at home and provide you with the medication. they said my dr has to approve it but he isn't in. -- Posted by nik1 at 1:46 am on July 11, 2009 If the pharmacy that you use at home is one of the big chains such as CVS, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Rite-Aid they have online access to your prescription records and can refill them without contacting your doctor.  If it is not a pharmacy that has a national connection the pharmacy cannot legally fill them without approval from your physician.
