okay, my friend Jamie has a boyfriend but she still tells her ex boyfriend that she loves him and they text constantly and he comes and sees her at her job, but their not dating. Isn't that a form of cheating although they've never kissed or anything?

I mean, nothing is wrong with saying I love you in the sense of friendship. As long as they aren't doing anything behind the scenes, I wouldn't say that it is necessarily cheating. Her boyfriend has every right to be jealous, and what she's doing might be seen as a bit... offbeat, but it's not text-book cheating.

its cheating. the way to think about cheating is if it would make her or you mad and you do it its cheating

Actually my boyfriends is good friends with his ex, they probably do say "I love you" occasionally... I don't mind because I'm secure enough in my relationship.

However, not everyone is. I never said it was right that she does that, i just said it's not cheating.

um yeah, cheating.

Thing is, her bf doesn't like her ex and doesn't want her talking to him. Understandable. And she still texts him, and everything. It's Bull.
