I've seen the doctor twice now and they think I have mono, but the test hasn't come back completely positive yet. I was pretty much incapacitated for a week. I'm going on week two, feeling only slightly better looking forward to another appointment on monday.
Those who have had it, tell me your stories.

I had it 3 year ago during the summer after my sophomore year.
It was NOT an enjoyable experience.

I've had it twice now. Last time, I had it for five months. It's really horrible.

I'm too lazy/tired to share a story right now. But it SUCKED.

Accompanied with the mono and staying up until 3 am every night, I passed out at school. My boyfriend caught me and I had to go home. I stayed home the next day because nobody wanted me to go in case I passed out again.

Then my doctor sent me for a blood test, which was fine. Until the results came back. My mom called me in the middle of class to tell me I had mono. Then my curfew started to be 8, and I had to be in bed by 10:30.

It didn't last too long. I think only a month. My doctor gave me steroids to take the edge off. I had a sore throat and I was always achey, but most of all I was always TIRED.

It's not as bad as everybody says it is. At least it wasn't for me.
