I caught my boyfriend of several years texting his new co-worker things like.. "I miss you." "Hey pretty whatcha doin?" "Don't lie you're thinking about me aren't you?" ..among a few other things. He is 24 and this girl is 17 and apparently has a boyfriend, too. I have never met her but when I talked to her, she was very nice & told me nothing was going on whatsoever. My boyfriend says it was all a joke because when he gave her a ride home when her boyfriend never came, a sixteen-year-old co-worker (who I'm told is sleeping with a guy who's got a girl) started a rumor that something must be going on between them, so in spite of her & her gossiping circle, my boyfriend & this little girl started joking about it with & in front of others. The texts were sent during their working hours. I do not fully believe my boyfriend would intentionally be flirting with this little girl, but my best friend doesn't seem happy that we talked it over. I don't know what to do. I still have odd, doubtful "what-ifs" in the pit of my stomach! There is much more detail but if I included the rest, the post would be awfully long. So going off of this, what do you guys think?

You know, 17 years old is not a little girl and if you trust him on this you are asking for disappointment.

Compared to our ages, she is a little girl.
