I guess this is some kind of code: You cannot date your best friend's ex! Why the hell not? Give me a good reason please. I have always found this "code" to be rather ridiculous.

Well, most people just don't like the fact that their BFF is dating their ex. I mean if you ever went on double dates or even just hung out together, most people find it very awkward. Unless they're just so selfless that they want their friends to be happy with whoever...Uh ever heard of jealousy? Most people experience it...
