I wouldn't think so, seeing as it's an American holiday to celebrate our independence...I'm sure they might have an independence day of their own, but I doubt It's on the 4th of July.

The Mexican calendar actually never uses the number 4. So it goes from July 3rd to the 5th, September 13th to the 15th, February 23rd to 25th, etc.

5 de mayo is not independence day and it's rarely celebrated in Mexico. 5 de mayo celebrates the battle of Puebla agaisnt the french. Independence day is on September 15th

what hes getting at, is the fact that it's not AMERICA that celebrates the 4th of July, it's the USA, America is not the US only, it's Canada, and Mexico, at least North America is, there's always Central and South Americas to talk about too.
