the person that it was prescribed to doesn't want it anymore, and plus it's expired and they specifically give it to you to help out with the same problem?

If somebody gives you a prescription, and you don't want the drug, you just...don't take the prescription to the chemist and you wont get it?

Not sure about legality, but it's definitely not okay to take someone else's prescription medication, especially when it's expired.

It's illegal!! If anyone takes prescription medication that's not prescribe to them and only them, it's illegal. Expired or not. It's not really enforced and it happens all the time.
