People honestly believe if we vote Republican then all the problems go away. People honestly believe if we vote Democratic then all our problems go away. People honestly believe if we vote Ron Paul then all our problems go away, or at least we'll be too stoned to notice any problems. I don't think Americans* will ever be happy. The best we can hope for is 60% contentment.

Ron Paul had it right

"America" will never be happy because "America" is a country, not an individual. Nations don't have emotional states (or brains). Aiming to please groups of people rather than individual tends to lead to failure.

Yes, its a little thing called Fascism, because if the military had a firm grip on everything, than no one would be able to complain

Don't insult me for inaccuracies you need to edit out later, dude. I know happy Americans. Do you mean making the totality of Americans happy? That seems unlikely, as the only trait they have in common is being from the United States, so their criteria for happiness vary wildly.

I made a typo. Nice job cherry picking my argument with two left out letters, jackass. I meant the totality. Hence referring to Americans, and not "People who live in Kansas" or whatever the fuck you thought of when you saw "America"

Well, clearly there should be a solution to the angst of each American, though there is no logical reason one would expect there to be a single, individual solution to the angst of hundreds of millions of Americans, since they don't necessarily share any attribute other than hailing from America.
