now i have an old camera that was my moms its an olympus om88 but i wanted to sue the camera because its always been a very good camera but one time we tried to take a pick of a gorilla behind plexiglass at the zoo and the shutter froze shut. any idea whats wrong or how to fix? its sentimental and would hate to have to throw it away. thnksss

The gorilla was too ugly to have its picture taken, obviously.

Best thing to do is to take it to a store so they can repair it.

olympus cameras are shit. just like kodak cameras are. it will coast more to get it fixed than it would to get a new higher quality one.

Its an SLR with auto exposure. The camera was doing what its supposed to. There was probably little light available, so it was doing a longer exposure.

There is nothing wrong with the camera. There is something wrong with the user though.

If you dont know how to use an SLR, go buy yourself a fucking point and shoot! They are like $10!
