When I had a chest X-ray done they made me change into a hospital gown becauase of having a bra on with metal clasps.

It really is easy though and it takes all of 5 minutes. You go in and then they do it and your done. Easy Peasy.

What did you do ? Are you okay ?

Ive been having problems with my heart and stuff..  the doctor kept ignoring it because he didnt know what it was, and he finally said i should get an xray done to rule anything out (like i had a nasty fall about 18 months ago where i damaged my ribs, which might of somehow damaged something else)but just to make sure nothing shows up on that, then ive gotta go to a specialist ]:

Ahh dear
Good luck

Thankyou [:   and thanks to everyone for their replies :)

You either stand or lay down, they put the plate with the film behind you, they take the x-ray.
Pretty much, it shouldn't take long, and these days (at least here in the UK) they don't even use film anymore, it's all digitised.

This. What is wrong?
Chasey Posted at 6:28 am on July 10, 2009
They make you hold your breath then have you stand infront of this weird thing and it takes the xrays, or they make you lay on this table thing and the xray machine goes over you

Edit I should also note the X-ray is painless in itself.
