I don't mean little rocks on the beach or you see a big rock, and you climb it and think "Hey this is amazing".

I mean actual mountain-rock climbing?

I've done it a couple of times, and it's one thing that gets all my stress away.

Usually when I do it, I'm energetic at it so I never seem to struggle at any parts (well, have a few times, but always conquered it).

It's such a great feeling when you get to the top.

Only problem is, is getting down, but I've always abseiled down it.

I am in excellent physical condition and I have tried rock climbing.  It puts a person on the edge of living and dying for making only one small mistake.  My attention span is limited and I know it.  I think you have to be an extremely disciplined person with safety knowledge at the top of the list in importance.  I have not applied the proper amount of time in learning the skills of doing it right.    I admire anyone that can but at this stage of my life I have to measure risk vs rewards.  Right now I limit myself to hiking regularly.  I will try to hike at least one day a week up to around 20 miles.  Not much risk except for possibly surprising a bear with her cubs and a few snakes.

Yep. I used to be pretty good at it. I haven't done it in ages though.

Same. I keep meaning to actually do it again, to like train? You know those plastic-molds? Those places (because they're handy to train on) but the place I used to go to went away.

Yeah.

Near me there is this church that's been converted into a climbing centre. If my bank balance could hack it, I'd get an annual membership, but it can't.
