Replies Opiate Corsair Posted at 9:16 pm on July 2, 2009 Have you checked out esophagitis? Inflammation of the esophagus. It can make you feel like you've got something stuck in the back of your throat and it causes heartburn/reflux. Even though the reflux isn't up towards your mouth, it's still considered heartburn and it means acid is coming up into your esophagus when it's not supposed to.
