So, just recently I found out that someone who I'm very close too, is now dating this guy that I used to like. I mean they were friends first and thats how I met him and then we sorta all beame friends, and we used to like eachother but never really dated and it didn't work out, so we agreed to stay friends. But, now they're dating. And first off she didn't even tell me, I had to fnd out from another friend. And, I don't know I just kinda feel like it shouldn't be a big dea, but if t wasn't then y were they hididng it?Y didn't she just tell me to my face? It just seems kinda mean, and like she acted like she was jealous the whole time when we did like eachother, and now that their dating it just seems like, that was kinda her plan all along ya know? Idk, I guess what I'm asking is...should I be mad? I don't really date so I'm not to keen on all the "girl code" rules and what not but should I be?

Yes!Thats exactly how I feel! Like, if she didn't think there was anything wrong with it, then why didn't she just tell me in the first place? I wanna confront her but, I don't know what to say if I should or like how to approach the situation ya know?

About them dating? No. About her keeping it from you? I think so, it kind of breaks a trust friends should have and makes it seem like it was meant to back-stab you otherwise she wouldn't have had any problem telling you.

Just don't make it seem like you're attacking her or that you want to pick a fight. Kind of ease into, maybe start with something like "it's fine that you two are going out but it bothers me that you didn't trust me enough to tell me anything". Something along those lines so you get your point across but you're not essentially slapping her across the face.

maybe she thought you mighy get angry if she told you face to face. i dont think you should be angry at her, and i really doubt it was her plan all along
