and you know you're not the one in the wrong, would you make the effort to talk to them if you two weren't talking? even if you know you didn't do anything wrong?

i haven't talked to my best friend in almost a week because of something she did. we're both stubborn as fuckk and i hate fighting with people, and i don't know what to do.

wait til she says something to me or just forget about it and talk to her?

If you want to remain friends, you will have to put forth effort of your own if your friend isn't.

If this is one of your true friends and you care for her deeply than you need to be the bigger one. It show that you are strong person...
When things go rough I always think about this... Sometimes You cant change the vote you live in but you can change the way you look at it.
Hope this help

forget about it and talk to her. sometimes you have to be the bigger person if you feel the problem in your friendship is worth resolving.

i don't really feel like it's me being the bigger person. she dicked me over so why should i completely forget about what she did and talk to her? if i do that she'll think nothing about what she did.

then why the fuck did you ask me for advice?

rahawr Posted at 7:11 pm on Jan. 5, 2009
yes and ive had to in the past because its pointless and annoying so i just let her win. i didnt apologize or whatever and neither did she but we just decided to talk again..even though it was something very little haha and only didnt talk for a few hours but still

Typically, if you're arguing about something, then both of you think that you are right.  There would be no arguing otherwise, right?  So your friend may be in the same position, thinking that you were the one in the wrong (thinking that you overreacted or something), even if it's blatantly clear to others which side is 'in the right'.

Either way, sometimes being stubborn as fuck just ends up causing problems.  If this is your best friend, then you're running the chance of losing her, all over something you were too stubborn to address.  One of you has to take the first step... and if both of you keep waiting for the other, and keep blaming the other for not trying to get back together, then nothing is going to happen.

So it's your call, but if you want to actually get somewhere, why not take the step forward?  That's not admitting that she was right, but showing that you're not just going to sit there and do nothing about it.

talk to her, I'm always the person to say sorry even if its not my fault.
I cant stand not talking to the people I love.

No way. I'm never wrong. Wait it out till they come groveling and apologizing to you.
