I have a huge crush on a really good friend of mine. I write poems, mainly because she encourages me to. She says I'm really good at writing them and that she really likes them. Every day when we see each other, she asks me if I have any more for her, and I usually give her at least one. She has all of the one's I've written so far at home.

Anyway, a great deal of them are love poems about an unnamed friend (her, but they never say anything that would really clue her in to it being her). A lot of them are as if I were writing them to her, and the rest are all third person.

I'm wondering if it's possible she knows or at least suspects that they're about her.

i had the same problem (but i didn't write poetry about her) i just had some hints out there that i liked her, then one day, she asked me if i liked her, and i said yes. she said she figured and that she noticed those hints. now, were not dating, but our friendship is even stronger! =)

i think she has a feeling that it is her
but never asked because she is in a relationship
and maybe doesnt want to ruin a friendship between you two.

I think that's probably it, or that she actually doesn't know or never really thought about it.

I liked her right around this time last year, too. When I brought it up in passing around August, trying to explain something, she acted surprised and said she'd had no idea. She's generally really forward and blunt about things. It seems like if she'd known about it back then that when I brought it up her reaction would've been more like "No shit, it was pretty obvious." or something like that jokingly. I dunno though.

dude you have it so easy first of all she fucking knows no doubt about it infact if she doesn't i'l tell you where I live i'l give you a gun and you can shoot me in the head secondly since she knows and she says they are really good that means that she wants you to tell her that they are about you because of 2 reasons one if by some small chances they are not about her and she says are these about me its weird and 2 she prolly wants to hear it from you.  Just say these exact words
You: You know those poems I always give you
Her: Yeah.
You: They are about you.
Her:Big smile in her face she is really happy and you are happy and everybody happy WOOOHOOO I get the gold you get the princes the end

i'm fucking serious(except for the last part...well not this part the paragraph before this)

All women are susceptible to flattery even your mom. Naturally since they flatter her she loves to read them, but pretends to be clueless to stay within her moral and social standards.

She's never brought up anything about what the poems are about though. All she says to me or anyone else is that she thinks I'm really good and that she really likes them.

Most girls that say they "don't know" or act like they don't, usually do.
Kjanhot Posted at 2:19 pm on Nov. 21, 2008
If u don't think she knows put a big hint in one of the poems. Something personal about her will hint her.
medjai Posted at 2:18 pm on Nov. 21, 2008
Hey you know these poems are about you right?

probably, ask her!!! then you'll find out!!!
I don't want to say anything about it though, in case she doesn't.

Nothing can happen between me and her, mainly because she's got a boyfriend of almost two years. If she were ever to ask, I'd probably lie and say it was another friend besides her. I don't want to risk our friendship.

she might. you should have at least one thats addressing her directly. make it obvious that its about her, and when she asks you for one...slide it on in there! ....(that's what she said!)
Luvme4eva Posted at 2:16 pm on Nov. 21, 2008
I think she might suspect it. Do you want her to know?
