Well, now that you're Yore, you're a little more important. So, this can be a place where we can get to know each other again.
Tell us about you...What's your name? How old are you? Where are you/What are you doing in life currently? What are your dreams/goals for the future?
You don't have to participate in our little share time, but I think it'll be nice to get to know everyone better. This way we can feel even more close-knit and elite. What say you?
For the time, my life is about my family. Since I joined, Mum married a wonderful man with 3 sons, who are now my brothers.
I'm Chelsea. I'm 15 and I'm a sophomore in high school.
After I graduate I'm going to work towards a major in journalism and a minor in political science and be a journalist, maybe at Baylor University or Hawaii Pacific University or Stanford University.
I'm spunky and irrational.
And pretty interesting. I have a million psychotic exboyfriend stories, and another million about the interesting things living in a hick town in Texas will bring to you.
So, uh, hi.
I'm Lexie, or Lex as most of you end up calling me. I'm 18, I joined just before I turned 16. Since then I've become a much more louder, bolder, and better person with a higher self esteem. I work a lot, and I live in a motel right now, but I'm glad to say I've met the love of my life. I want to become a famous author some day. I also want to fill up my point bar eventually. Haha.
Other than that I'm me, and I am glad to be me. And I love this website, even if it's nothing but ignoramus.
Forever livewire's, The infamous AMS
Either way, I've been here somewhere close to forever. I joined when I was about 15 on the recommendation of my at the time girlfriend and never left. In the meantime I've grown up, found out what I wanted to do with my life, and in general got way cooler, and am now approaching 20 years of age shortly.
I'm a programmer, a computer nerd, and all that. Other than that.. I unno? I'm a lurker here anyway. Maybe I'll expand upon me later.
I started coming on this site when I was still in high school. I am now 22 years old and a little farther in life than I was back then. I no longer am a store manager as I was let go and went back to school. I am now currently working and going to school. It's tough but I am too.
I hope to finish off getting my AA so I can transfer to a four year college. Right now that is my goal. :)
I am going to be a seniorrrrr in hs. I am trying to get my life to the way it was.
My goals are to overcome my biggest fear,t o find answers to huge questions that affect all of us, to enjoy life to the fullest and do so many fun things.
So yes... I'm alive well and I guess I'm saying a big thankyou for the existence of this place!
i miss you
I live in the middle of nowhere, WI. I go to a school that has 150 kids in the high school, it pretty much sucks. I have a brother who used to come here in 2005/2006. His screen name was CaGeD iN.
There's not much more to explain. My life pretty much is boring, so that's why I come on here so often. I just come around here for entertainment, then again, that's what life is for, right?
I'm Jade
I'm 21 now, I guess I was 16 when I joined this forum having just left high school and was full of teen angst!
I've just popped back, first time I've been on here in years, just for a nostalgia trip I guess. I can't believe how much time I spent on this place!
I'm so different now. I used to be very insecure and a little fickle, loved pink and being a little 'alternative gothic' etc etc
Now I'm 21, I've just moved into my first house with my partner of nearly three years and I'm about to qualify as an Occupational Therapist within the next month. Already have a post graduate job working within mental health and I've achieved so much in the time since I've been on here. I'm published in journals, I've spoken at conference, made loads of friends and basically grown up.
Still love shoes, handbags, films and all of the usual stuff.
I'm absolutely chuffed to mint balls to see that this place is still here and thriving, it really is such a fabulous port of call for young teens, I don't think I'd be who I am without it really.
Part of me would love to stick around and share the love some more, but most of my advice these days, would be rooted in my professional knowledge and therefore wouldn't be ethical really.
Um. Actually I am 22 which when I joined would have made me around 15. I graduated when I was 16 and went to school at the U of M.
I met and lost my first love on here.
I stay because there are alot of memories here and I like it.
