Dude, Chicago.

How can you forget Chicago?

It depends on how far away you want to go, really.

There are plenty of fun, albeit off-the-mark things to do in Michigan.

I quite like the Upper Peninsula. There's camping, boating, beautiful beaches. Nice weather in the summer. If you like nature stuff, it's pretty fun.

If you have a passport, go to Ontario. Ottawa, Toronto, Windsor. There is a whole other country up there, you know.

yeah i've been meaning to, but it seems like a hassle getting a passport and stuff.

Where in Michigan do you live?  I live in Holland right now, which is like 10 minutes from Lake Michigan about half way up the left coast.

To get to Chi-town takes like 2.5hrs.
