There seems to be some confusion about the theme. To clear this up, I give you the Twelve Days of Christmas: On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: 12 Drummers Drumming Eleven Pipers Piping Ten Lords a Leaping Nine Ladies Dancing Eight Maids a Milking Seven Swans a Swimming Six Geese a Laying Five Golden Rings Four Calling Birds Three French Hens Two Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
(obviously, there are more verses, counting the days up from 1, and adding a new set of items each day.) The image must depict at least one of the previous lines. Eg. You can draw a picture of day six, showing "six geese a laying", or some such thing
i suck at art
Why did i say OUR...well my little brother helped me...he drew the 5 Golden Rings...much better then my 3 French hens lol
Enjoy...

They dont. I sent both of the members pms about how their entries weren't going to be counted, since they weren't in the theme. However, if no more entries come in that DO follow the rules, I may just give them points for actually putting in something. Well there are plenty of days left im sre something is bound to be put in...its just that, well its not an easy topic... Kind of hard to see a partrige in a pear tree or catch 7 swans. It doesnt have to be photography; it can be a drawing/ painting/ photoshop work as well, as it says in the OP. I hope I made that clear enough....

I realize its religious, being raised Catholic. Birth of Christ and all that. In fact, in finding the lyrics to add into my main post, I found a site talking about the religious significance of each of the days in the lyrics.
However, there is no arguing that the celebration has become largely secularized and is celebrated by many/most people regardless of religious background. This contest is in the spirit of the season, not the spirit of the religion.
