Most of the times anorexia is triggered by a past event, sometimes that's because the person has given up self harming and still need something to feel there pain begin released. Starving... is very painful, i would say worse than self harming. If you don't get help from your parents or doctor now, you have a huge chance of developing deeper into anorexia nervosa, which from my own experience; is not a nice thing. You lose weight, but your perspective on thin becomes thinner, therefore you see yourself as fat. you could eat 0 calories in one day and lose 4lbs, and you would still think you 'could have done better' Trust me... Anorexia is horrible, you should go visit your doctor with your friend or parents and tell them how you can't eat and want help. Just don't leave it too late, do you really want to be fed fat through a tube?... It's not nice. Pm me whenever you want :) -Leah xx |

| Your friend might have a point, and like I've said so many times on here, self-harm is NEVER the answer. My question to you is how is everything at home? How are your relationships with your family members and friends? There has to be a reason as to why your body wants to do this. What's going on around you is probably what's causing your body to reject the food. Try spending more time with your family and friends; socialize more. Doing this will really help your self-esteem and you'll be able to go back to your regular eating habits. Also, simply force yourself to eat. You know what the consequences will be if you don't eat enough, so think of it as something that you absolutely have to do for survival. |
