Because when I look in the mirror, I don't see what you see. It's like I'm looking in one of those fun house mirrors at the carnival. When I look in the mirror, all I see is fat and curves and bulges that don't belong. I feel worthless because I'm so fat. I feel like no one wants to look at me or be around me because I'm so disgusting." She paused and took a deep breath, trying to keep her emotions in check. "I feel like if I could only lose 5 more pounds, everything in my life would be okay again. But when I do lose 5 pounds, nothing changes. It's still hell.
