David should develop a special page apart from fresh topics where mods can access topic updates and X off trend spam out of fresh topics. This would be a better system to just deleting them because all these members are trying to do is get a reaction: both from members and moderators. And they end up succeeding anyway because it's finally the mods that have to deal with it.
