My boyfriend says shorts count as pants but I disagree. I kinda understand how guy's shorts are like pants but when I think of how a lot of girls wear little booty shorts I can't justify calling them "pants". Opinion? On a somewhat related note, I saw a girl who looked 14 walking around with her friends today. Her shorts were so short that I could see the bottoms of her ass cheeks and it was honestly pretty gross. I wanted to go up to her and ask "Does your mother know you have that hanging out?" Are shorts pants?

Pants are made of materials other than denim.
