I can't wait until reality smacks you in your face. Adulthood isn't glamor. It's scary and big and finale.
This is so true.

You sound like you are not at all ready for this. I admit that I wouldn't be AT ALL. The real word is a scary place.

so what will you be doing for a job then?

Utah Laws Don't Require You To Get A Job.
But, I've Applied At Four Places,
  Just In Case.

OH MY GOD I LAUGHED SO HARD!

You are NOT prepared. You should have a job or at least several interviews lined up before you make any rash decisions. Being prepared will always save your ass.

You better be willing to work hard in this economy, because two jobs is barely getting me by. Do you have transportation? A reliable place to live? Have you applied for any assistance? Do you have your state ID? DO HAVE ANY IDEA?

Or are you just planning to suck off society until you wise up?

In virtually every state and province you can't be on welfare and emancipated unless there are instances of abuse. The point of getting emancipated is that you are mature enough to live on your own. Which is not true if you need welfare. If you can't/wont get a job and NEED to be emancipated due to abuse etc., many places will put you in foster care.

Then perhaps that's where she needs to go. If life is that hard for her then it shouldn't be a problem.

I think she'll adjust well.

It's most likely not "that hard for her." She's most likely an angsty teenager whose mother wont let her do the things she wants to do. If she does plan to go into the foster system, she needs to be able to prove that her mother is not meeting the obligations of a parent, and she does not have to wait until she is 16. If she is going to be emancipated, she needs to provide for herself 100%. If another person is going to file for guardianship, she needs to be able to again prove that her mother is not meeting her obligations as a parent.

The only way to get out your house legally when you're a minor is by being completely self sufficient and then applying for emancipated.

Specifically:

"11. Can I be emancipated if I still need state services or help from friends or a non-profit agency?

NO. When you file for emancipation you are stating that you are fully capable of taking care of yourself financially as an adult. However, Medicaid is still available if you need it and qualify for benefits."

Which is exactly what I stated above.

In addition, it is not as simple as 'filing for guardianship,' you need to prove in point that your mother is unfit to be a parent (ie she abuses you or does not provide everything required of a parent). Not that she is a 'cunt.'

LOL. Boy, you're in for a rude awakening. I say let her. See how fun the real world is.

Why are you getting emancipated?

Because I'm Not Going To Deal With My Mom AnyMore.

 She's A Cunt.

There are two scenarios here:

1) The legal age to leave home in your state is 16, in which case it's just called "leaving home" and you're using the wrong word.
2) Your state requires formal emaciation proceedings which are presided over by a judge and 'she is a cunt' is not a valid argument. In most states you are also required to prove that you are self sufficient (not "_____ says I can stay with them," if thats the case they have to file for guardianship).

I Have An Adult That Wants To File For GuardianShip.
So, I Can Stay With Them.
You Don't Need To Have A Reason.
As Long As You Go To School,
And Stay Out Of Trouble,
They Will Most Likely Grant Emancipation.

I think you may find that you will have more responsibilities than you think you do.
