If life is that hard for her then it shouldn't be a problem.   I think she'll adjust well. It's most likely not "that hard for her." She's most likely an angsty teenager whose mother wont let her do the things she wants to do. If she does plan to go into the foster system, she needs to be able to prove that her mother is not meeting the obligations of a parent, and she does not have to wait until she is 16. If she is going to be emancipated, she needs to provide for herself 100%. If another person is going to file for guardianship, she needs to be able to again prove that her mother is not meeting her obligations as a parent. I Have An Adult That Wants To File For GuardianShip. So, I Can Stay With Them. You Don't Need To Have A Reason.
