With that being said, you can't always count on parents. Parents aren't this infallible force that you can always depend on. That's a lesson learned there; not depending on other people, even parents... especially if they're idiots. This is something that I've learned to live with, and have lived with. You can't expect your mom to change, or do anything about it really. That's how she's chosen to live her life. The best thing you can do, is not let it touch you.
