The database software (MySQL) is not adept at handling so many entries and occasionally begins writing them incorrectly. When this happens, and it has happened before, I have no choice but to delete those duplicate entries. To "recover" the replies I would have to read each reply and guess which topic they belonged to. I only deleted replies that appeared more than once in the database, so in most cases one reply will still remain. However, it does seem that many topics remain damaged. My heart goes out to those of you applying to become support leaders who may have lost some of your application material. We store the replies in merge tables, so mysql reads 16 separate tables as if they were one table. It makes it possible for mysql to read them more efficiently (read faster and without crashing the server). However, merge tables are prone to corruption. This is not a coding issue. I have repaired the damaged database tables over the course of 2 days because the operations were so tedious and time consuming when dealing with 13 million replies.

At a life threatening situation i had made that topics, i was visiting them regularly for releving strees. It is unexplainable to put in words that the topics were corrupted, its contents are not mine when i was eagerly waiting for its recovery, suddenly mods complaining it is spaming. they can at least check out for bug report be4 complaining, can't they?? It really cause intense unpredicable emotions, can't put in words. Also u should now better manage to avoid future fall. It may lead somebody to suicide because of fucking software. There's database software that costs money and is much better equipped to handle large amounts of data.  Think of Youtube or Google and all the info they put in there compared to LW and their shiz doesn't crash. cant arguee with that, but those are multi-million dolar componies.... also, they higher their programers.
