I don't agree with enslaving intelligent life to labor like that.
Don't worry they'll just call them inferior anyway and then they won't have to worry about it. After all if humans did it to humans what would stop them from doing it to aliens? Those aliens better be more ruthless than us or they're screwed. |

Actually, I think a couple hundred years of selective breeding in chimpanzees would fairly easily get them to a level of being able to perform labor for humans. I feel like that would be a simpler solution.

A couple hundred? Lol'd.
Why?
There would be very little improvement in my opinion.
If chimpanzee intelligence has as much variance as has been speculated I think that 20 or so generations of selecting for intelligence alone would probably bring about fairly significant change. I can't guarantee it but it's a lot more likely than finding aliens and bringing them to earth.
There would be some improvement, but not much. Yeah, it's more likely than aliens, I'd say that.
I don't agree with enslaving intelligent life to labor like that. Besides it would be risky. The race you select to enslave could have powerful alliances. Plus whose to say they would survive on our planet anyways? |

I think that would be terrible. People should do their own damn labor. |

Wouldn't it be funny if we turned out to be the least advanced species of intelligence in the universe?
Why does everyone think that humans would be the idiots?
I'm sure we aren't the most idiotic but I am also sure there has to be a lot more intelligent races out there. Especially if they can travel through space.
What if space travel is like normal travel to us, and they can't do much more
That's unlikely. If they have the intelligence to travel through space like that then they have the intelligence to do other things. |
