I've notices a couple posts like this lately. And I've also got several comments from people (who I honestly cant for the life of me figure out why they decided to just hate me) about how incredibly not skinny I am. First of all, let's make it clear that being fat wasn't exactly my choice. I am active and don't eat 9000 pounds of fast food a day. You guys act like all bigger girls are the same. I got fat when my disease kicked in. AND guess what... bigger girls can be pretty too. It's my goal to be a pinup girl some day. Granted I will prolly lose some weight so that when my water weight catches up I dont feel horrible...  But I am fine posing that was the way I look now. I'd prefer posing that was with meat instead of showing bones, thanks. Just saying you people aren't better because you're skinny. (Most specifically to  the person who posted the skinny people are better than fat people because they are lazy post last week) And I dont have to drop 100 pounds to be pretty. So get over it.

People like you, Who don't even look fat and have a disorder such as that, Shouldn't be. Curvy women are beautiful, as well as skinny women, It just depends on how you hold yourself and present yourself as beautiful. And you don't have to get in peoples' faces telling them that you are beautiful either. It will just radiate from you if you believe. I know a girl who is curvy and gorgeous, and some people called her big in the past... But she COMPLETELY ignored them and went into dancing and now she's an instructor.. She's a beautiful girl, But yeah.. On the opposite end, Just because someone is skinny doesn't mean you should blame them for it. We all have our bodies that were given to us and cannot help it. When I was in middle school, I was a good thirty pounds overweight and despite what I did to try and lose it, I just couldn't. It turned out that my thyroid gland was not functioning properly. My doctor prescribed me some medication, and I was able to attain a healthy weight. My point is that you're absolutely right. When people walk down the street and make judgements about people based on their weight, it's ridiculous. Just because someone is a size 12 instead of a size 2 doesn't make them a bad person. Plus, not every overweight person is your typical couch potato or lazy bum. Like you said, it could be because of illness, surgery, stress, anything! Keep your head up and don't let people tell you that you aren't beautiful. They don't know what they're talking about and chances are they have a problem with their own identity if they can't accept yours. You won't ever be a pin up model. I agree that your weight doesn't necessarily make you attractive or not but it does play a big part in it. The thing was that losing weight sort of became my obsession, and that's what I was doing. I was losing weight- just that. I started lifting weights and things, and now the scale says I'm 150 lbs, but here's the thing. I look better with the extra twenty pounds of muscle. I don't think the goal should be to be skinny. It should be to be healthy. There's difference between being skinny to where someone can count your ribs and being skinny with some muscle. Although, on a survey, and interesting note is that most people said an ideal woman would be 5'7" and weigh 100 lbs. That is very underweight, and some models that weighed that actually died of heart attacks from inadequete nutrition. The truth is there is no perfect woman. Skinny, fat, it doesn't really matter. What matters is how healthy you are and how you, yourself, think of yourself. Fair enough if you want to lose a bit and tone up, but doesn't everyone?
