I keep having a dream about one of my closest friends (who is an ex), in which I can hear her sobbing, absolutely distraught in a house with numerous rooms. I search them, getting more and more panicked until I wake up. Why am I having this dream?

find her.
talk to her.
see what's wrong.
you may be predicting a future emotion for her.

this seems the best to me..

Because you feel guilty you can't help? You'll try and try but you can't even get near enough to the answer to help her?

Thats what i thought.

I mean, if you can't find her within the house it could symbolise not being able to help... that's all.
