| Quoting a Nobel Prize winner is a variation on Appeal to Authority. In fact it would have been if only having a Nobel Prize had nay bearing with someone's judgement or sanity. We know it does not. In fact Knut Hamsun was allegedly of duboius sanity and his realatiion ship and views of Hitler and the German occupation of Norway was highly conflicted at best, if not schizophrenic. As for David Lloyd George his views are similarly highly impaired by his mental capacity at the time. It is one think to believe personaly in the greatness of Hitler (if on e can truly justify this) but using quotes of praise to support one's opinion of Hitler is largely dishonest if not outright ridiculous. |

Nathen Kid Rune.Ow is't. Thanks for the quotes by St JFK & that doddery old Taffy con artist Lloyd- George.I hadnt come across them before. Off course Lloyd - George was well in his pre senile dotage by the time he said this so we can't pay too much attention. My father knew him by the way.Like Kennedy he was a great philanderer or liar & adulterer to be more modern. Kennedy ,of course was a total shithouse with his women - it was a good carreer move to get assasinated before women's lib really got going becuase they would have really done for him . But ,& more to the point, as any Lefty will tell you your quote confirms what we always knew:that at heart Kennedy was a right little Fascist |

"Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived [...] He had a mystery about him in the way that he lived and in the manner of his death that will live and grow after him. He had in him the stuff of which legends are made." - John F Kennedy
significant/ legendary =/= good
"I am not worthy to speak aloud of Adolf Hitler... He was a warrior for mankind and a herald of the gospel of justice for all nations. He was a reformative figure of the highest rank, and it was his historic fate that he had to work in a time of unprecedented baseness, which in the end brought him down. Thus, I suppose, must the ordinary West European look upon Adolf Hitler. And we, his close followers, now bow our heads before his mortal shroud." - Knut Hamsun, Norwegian Nobel Prize winner "Hitler is one of the greatest men." -David L George |

Come off it bud2400 .If Hitler opposed capitalism he sure made a good job of pretending to be one & of furthering the aims of capitalism Lawrence is correct when he writes about the British Empires fusion of politics & production towards war & Imperialism. He expresses it beautifully.Hitler did the same thing. The US is engaged in similar strategies & has been since WW2 Nazism as conceived by Hitler is the apotheosis of capitalism. |

Capitalism? I think you forget that capitalism was one of the ideals Hitler opposed, although obviously not as much as other ideologies, communism in particular. Hitler did little during his reign that one could call "capitalist" - the capitalist elements in Nazi Germany were only there because they had been there since before Hitler came to power. |

Not by any stretch of the imagination. Such principles predated Hitler by a hundred years at least with the British Imperial system which combined seamlessly the needs of war with the needs of private citizens with industrial production and the imports of raw materials from the colonies. |

Hitler was a great man.The patron saint of the capitalist military industrial complex By starting the over productionof war material in Europe & Russia he ended the depression in all countries in Europe. By brilliant generalship he let the US & Russian Armies meet in germany & single-handedly created the cold war which was a boon for US industry & the arms industry & space race.It gave rise the the Ist US Reich & George Bush. By killing Jews he empowered Zionism & got the jews to Israel thus causing the the whole middle East mess which allowed the US Reich to invade Irag & Afganistan & futher enriched the US industrial military complex. What a genius And and he loved Wagner & Beethoven !! I mean -- just how great can one man be -- it's --Wow. He was the superman |

I didn't make up any version of NSism Jake. It's entirely based off of 21st century National Socialism. The NSDAP isn't true National Socialism because it contradicts numerous ideals in National Socialism. They disarmed their civilians, yet actual NSism would never do such a thing. Check the thread on NSism I made. |

The ideology has changed. We were talking in the present day. You said "Neo-nazis and National Socialists are still around and spewing their hate." indicating today.
But you said NSDAP weren't "true" National Socialists. Obvioulsy they couldn't have the version you made up today. So what makes the current NS "true" and the NSDAP not "true"? |
