Hey im an acoustic guitarist mainly..but i wanted to start making some techno/guitar duos but i dont know which program would be good for this.

I just started downloading cubase..but if that doesnt work....any ideas?

Reason is really good. Get that. That is what the pors use.

cubase is wank, also it's really difficult to pirate well. if you're on PC use Live if you want a simple thing or Sonar if you want lots of functions. But Logic will always beat all of them and that's for mac. For doing purely techno and dance stuff, use Reason, but you have to rewire it into a host program like the ones above.
