Who would home DDOS you? I haven't seen that. I've had my rack at my DC DDOSed but I've axed them and also my game server.
Some prick i used to be an admin for on a network. Has this grudge against me leaving after years of hard work with no gratitude. That was of course over a year ago... |

Spybot S&D, AdAware, Highjack This would be good Anti Spyware. You can have as many Anti Spyware, but only One Firewal and Anti Virus program running. |

| that lineup looks good. Don't install anything else on your computer (well, any fully featured programs). They tend to conflict with each other and detect each other as viruses (which is never good). |

Do you have a NAT router? With any router these days you're pretty much safe from DDoS attacks because the router is in stealth mode and won't route unsolicited packets. If you do and you're still getting DoSd then you have a problem.
A router still has to process the traffic, and reject it. You can only manage things to a certain extent, you will always be affected by an attack. ----- To the OP: There is nothing more that you can do, although I find it hard to belive that you have gotten targetted for a dos . . . It is good to invest in a paid solution for your computer, such as Kaspersky or Nod32, they're miles ahead of the ones which you have stated. |

I have a NAT router. NAT Type 2. Mcafee free has a better detection rate than avast? |
