AVG's link.
I don't know what is better, I love Avast but I feel completely safe with it.

I have been using AVG for EVER but right now I'm using Avast! and truthfully it is hard to tell the difference.

Well i used Avast to do a boot-up scan or w.e it is called i really like it as it found that i had a virus which norton couldn't find.. probably because as its a boot-up scan the viruses arn't properly active yet so it is easier to find them!

but thats all i use Avast for i don't use it as an anti virus program, just a scanner.

iv only used AVG once.. but i installed it on my friends computer yesterday and it found like a zillion trojans.. so yh you know.. that seems good..

most anti virus programs all have good points and unique things like avast has the boot-up scan.

Avast is up-to-date. AVG has startup check which is a nuisance.
nirvava Posted at 11:49 am on July 19, 2008
McAffy and Norton are shit.
Avast is slow and isnt kept uptodate
AVG is free, but again is very slow on the plus side, AVG is uptodate

I use AVG I wouldn't know about the other one
Daleacus Posted at 11:38 am on July 19, 2008
Personally, I prefer AVG. I'd advise against using both.

HAHAHA norton is really really bad, it takes up sooooo much memory on a computer and that's why people's pcs go slow with it.
AVG is best, it uses minimal memory but is very safe

I've been using AVG for years. I don't have any complaints.

Can't say much about Avast though.
