Agh! Okay. Hai. Well i'm in quite the pickle here... Please help me. I will give you whatever few points I have.

Here is my situation-
I tried to get on IMVU and it wouldn't work, tried it a million times, blah blah blah, kept telling me I had no internet connection when I can access internet fine.

Now I bought the Sims 3, and it is also telling me I have no internet connection. I found this forum, where the girl solved the problem:

if it doesnt have a switch, unplug it and plug it back in. works for me every time, you'll have to wait about 5 minutes though.

Okay, you know that little box, that your Eathernet Cable is plugged into? that's the router.  On said router, there should be a little switch, Flip it, wait ten seconds, then flip it again. then try see if it works

I have a Qwest DSL modem. Is that what we are talking about?

Yes...kind of...modems and routers are different, but the modem should have a switch on it too.  Try to use that.
