So I need a cheap, but good AGP video card for my PC. I want to at least run Battlefield 2 on it. Ive narrowed it down to two cards on two sites

Other input is helpful

Is better bang for your buck than either of those.

Except for the fact that its PCI and I need AGP

I wish I actually read things.

I would take http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125281  then.

Did you notice the cons on the Sapphire card?

"Cons: The card gets very hot during gaming. I keep the case open and set a small fan blowing directly on the card, otherwise it overheats in an hour and the computer crashes. The card is fine if you're just surfing the internet or something though."

Just because of that, I'd go with the GeForce. I've always had GeForce video cards, and never had a problem with any of them.

The first says gets very hot in gaming so I would steer away from that one

I prefer ATI over Nvidea.

I'd go with the ATI, seems more future proof. I don't think there's a big distinction to be honest, I'm just an ATI guy.

Radeon graphics card. I always go with them because they are reliable in my mind and there easy to crossfire.. ( join to graphics cards together )
