Okay, well my cousin's fiancee wiped out everything on our computer.

Now theres no sound, and my friend told me it was my sound card. (Which it really is)

Anyone know where to get one? /:

Ok, sorry now I'm causing you a bit of work haha but this is what I'd do to sort things out.
Might be easier ways but this is one way

Go here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
and download it using the link in the top left corner

Extract everything to a folder somewhere or onto your desktop, doesn't matter, then run cpuz

Under the mainboard tab just list out what the make and model is.
From there it'll be possible to find what driver you need for whatever onboard audio is on the mainboard.

Ah ok, well if you have windows xp click Start > Run then type dxdiag and hit enter
A new window should come up and under the sound tab it'll say what sound device you have.

Everythings blank. Except where it says "No sound card was found.  If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer."

All you probably need is a driver.
Try find some documentation or cd's that came with your computer and find out what sound card/onboard audio you have first.

When we bought it from Rent-A-Center, it didn't come with any CDs like that. :S
