Might be easier ways but this is one way Go here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and download it using the link in the top left corner Extract everything to a folder somewhere or onto your desktop, doesn't matter, then run cpuz Under the mainboard tab just list out what the make and model is. Everythings blank. Except where it says "No sound card was found.  If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer."
