The appearance of being older is a lot about projecting confidence. If you can speak articulately and maintain good posture, many people will feel as if you are more in control, and thus assume you are more mature (or older) than if you were to shyly respond to inquiries. Of course your clothes play a part, but it seems you have that aspect down. Wear conservative clothing for a job. I was shy, once upon a time, too. I don't think it's a fault, I think it just means you may be more observant (a better listener) than most people. Unfortunately, the world of work is a whole different playing field.

Maybe its because Ive been working here for 3 years and I looked even younger back then since I was only 14/15 and most people probably just thought my mum was baby sitting me...

If you're 18, dress 18, I shop at bodyshop, their not older clothes, but they are made for girls 16-25
Im in Australia and where Im from doesnt have a shop like that. Im pretty limited.. Only Target, Cotton On, Supre, Jay Jays and the cheap department stores...

How long is your hair? Short hair makes you look younger. I'm about to turn 20 and people think I'm still 15. But even if I had longer hair I still have a kid face.
