He confessed his love to me, I denied him, and now he's no longer my best friend.

It's wonderful. Really. It makes me feel fucking fantastic.

wow you're a bitch

Uh, how? She sees him as a brother. She's a bitch for that? She's a good person if she fakes their love and just leads him on? Are you serious?

The truth will set you free.

to say she feels fucking fantastic over breaking this poor guy's heart is pretty bitchy to me. i understand her situation that it'd be awkward to date him and all but i'd still feel bad about rejecting him if he was so sincere

You took that seriously? It was pretty obvious she was being sarcastic. She wasn't complaining about him like she hated him, so why do you think she honestly felt fantastic over losing a BEST friend whom she saw as her brother? They were that close, and you think she's enjoying losing her friend?

well accept him
   into your heart
   and apologize

  ...
Okay, God. He's my best friend. He's nearly a brother. I'm not going to date him.

Either get over it and accept him or get over it and accept that he doesn't want to be your friend anymore. either way, get over it.

 ...

I"m pretty sure I'm allowed to post about anything I want (within reason, of course) on this forum. "Get over it," isn't very supportive. Don't you think?

If she won't go out with him theres nothing she can do.
She should just get over it if she wont date him.
I'm not going to support her after she hurt his feelings.

Why are you saying "she?" We're talking about me. I'm aware there's nothing I can do. This entire thread was merely for venting purposes. Try to be a little more sensitive here. I didn't want to hurt his feelings, as he is my best friend, but I will certainly not engage in a relationship with him in which I feel no feelings and/or sexual and physical attraction. That would be a terrible thing to do, as I would only have to break up with him and hurt his feelings even more.

You're an idiot.

"I feel fucking fantastic," is sarcasm.

Tool bag.

He's most likely in shock..frankly, I don't see why a friendship should end if it can't turn into something more, but love makes you do crazy, sometimes stupid, things.. :\

Give him awhile to himself. :3
