Im going on a date later on today, i dont mind going and all (he is paying).

But i have to tell him that im not interested in him in the best possible way, because i like hanging around with him (he is just yuk to look at).

How should i say it?

Im not interested in a relationship right now?Im not looking for anything serious? I dont want a guy in my life at the moment? I want to live for myself?

What can i say to be nice about it at the same time?

If you're not interested in him, then why are you going on a date with him?

He is interesting and funny to be around, just not something id like to kiss.

You can hang out with him without having him pay for your stuff if that's the case.  I don't know, I think that going "on a date" with someone only to tell them that you aren't interested is pretty cruel.  I'd think that would be leading someone on.  If you don't like someone, don't get their hopes up like that...I think it's better just to say from the very beginning that you're not interested, not wait until he's paying for your meal or whatever.  That's just asking for drama.

Just be honest, say you like hanging out with him but you don't see him that way. Going out on a date with him isn't too great of an idea though. Saying that he's paying and that's why you don't mind is pretty bad, you're using him at the expense of his money and feelings.

Just tell him you're not interested in dating him.

"Thanks for paying for all my shit, now that that's out of the way, I have no interest in you"
Say it how it is sistah, he'll appreciate the honesty and continue to be your friend.

^ exactly.. are you just looking for a free meal or something hah.

If the only reason that you are going is because he is paying then it's your character that is more in question than his yukky looks.

Just because you are going on a date with him does not mean that you are obligated to be his steady.  If you are going to permit him to buy your dinner and pay for the date then I think you are somewhat obligated to NOT treat him like he has leprosy.  Talk to him, have a good time, laugh and enjoy hanging with him just like you do when you are not dating him only don't allow the conversation to get personal.  Avoid the conversation.  Talk about anything but relationships.

tell the truth,, I'm a shallow bitch, and dont want be seen with you..
GlassHearts Posted at 5:42 am on July 3, 2009
Just explain that you dont want a relationship with him, but you value his friendship.

if you say you dont want a man in your life, you might find someone shortly after, and date them, then they guy wont trust you because you lied.

Tell him that you want a break from serious relationships, that right now you just think you aren't ready for it, but you'd love to be friends.

Or you can be like me and just go "No."
