Depends on where you're from, but seeing as most people here are from the states, here's the basic definition: Hispanic is defined as someone from a Spanish-speaking country. Latino is defined anyone from Latin America (which usually includes the Caribbeans, or any former Spanish, Portuguese and French colonies). You can be Hispanic or latino from any race.
