I think Plants will be affected by music! Furthermore I think some music may have an effect on plants vigor and growth. I am sure that some music will make plants healthier and grow more vigorously. They will "enjoy" the music and relax and respond to the stimuli like they would respond to say  water by closing their guard cells. Now this may be far fetched but I think certain plants would prefer certain music just like certain plants prefer a lot of sunshine and other prefer shade or part shade. This I am sure of though that plants would enjoy good music and respond by growing more vigorously and being healthier. I think I just made a discovery or a great observation. Must have been a great fun experiment. Put some of your favorite music on and have a plant or two nearby or three plants and in a week or two or a month check out what happens. Even better expose some plants to music and another group of plants to no music and see what happens. Keep the other variables constant and boom you have yourself a proffesional science experiment at home!
