First off, I really need serious answers to this.

Well, my iTouch won't turn on. It won't turn no matter how many times I hit the sleep/wake button or the home button. The screen won't turn on when I plug it into the computer or the charger, and when it's plugged into the charger, it gets wicked hot. What could be the problem? It's a first generation iTouch and I've had it for at least 2 years, and I just upgraded the newest firmware onto it. I also dropped it on the pavement the other day, but it worked right after that, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it because I've dropped it before and it worked fine.

Help? I really don't want to have to buy another one. Or a new battery.
