here ( in my country , I've don't like to mention) , some institute is doing the classes for the SCJP and the SCMAD . For the SCJP they cost's around 30,000/- rs. that is same as 300$ . I want to know whether are they were boosting ?

well I want to know the real value of the SCJP certification. I really know that it really don't worth much . But I need it in your words. This is not a anti-advertitesement aginst some institute , but please post your ideas here to help to stop boosting to the poor students .....

My take on this, and this is just from personal observation is in the US, these types of certificates are becoming more and more common and that degrades their value.  Especially since the skills they touch on are becoming more and more well known.

There are people you will compete with that have been in the business for way too long.  I would not look to these as a quick way to finish school and get paid a lot, but as a way to get you a foot in the door.

Just like internet fly by nights, the time for certificates is becoming less and less appealing.
