However, in all honesty, they need to be taken away from the drivers seat. I was driving along my town's main road, and an older woman is a few hundred yards in front of me driving at 10 mph in a 40 mph speed zone. She has her right directional on, as she wants to turn into the post office. Well, she turns a few yards too soon, and ends up on the sidewalk. Sigh.

Regardless, our reaction speed is much more quick and precise than that of an 80-year-old. You either drive the speed limit or stay off the road. It's just as dangerous to go thirty miles per hour below the speed limit than it is to go thirty above.
