as opposed to young people who think they're indestructable and do 90 in that 40 zone and end up splattered on the pavement...
Regardless, our reaction speed is much more quick and precise than that of an 80-year-old. I'm not saying speeding is better than going vastly under the speed limit, but teenagers are overall more in control physically. |

I'm more for having people have to take a driver's test every 5 years.
and who would pay for that? the individual or the government? seeing as it would be a government requirement.
The individual would pay for the test. Driving is a privilege, not a right.
eh, I disagree with multiple tests. |

| Yeah, but I'm sure there are some young drivers that have done much the same (or are going way over than 40mph). I've seen some older drivers who drive just fine :). |

| I'm sorry, but I HATE getting stuck behind old people that are driving slowly. You either drive the speed limit or stay off the road. It's just as dangerous to go thirty miles per hour below the speed limit than it is to go thirty above. |

I agree. Even 5 years is a big gap, though. Possibly every year. |

| I've heard a story of an old couple that turned onto the WRONG SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY and just proceeded to drive along there way. That's bad. |
