i have an issue, ive been recently dating this girl and i am starting to like her. Friends that went to the same school as her have told me she is a retired slut. She slept around and has had unprotected sex , although she has changed and is no longer a slut. So my problem is how do you ask a girl to get her self checked out? without being rude or ruining the relationship

these do not always work. if she by chance has AIDS or HIV, it's much better to just ask her to get tested and make sure rather than just use a condom and risk catching it or anything like it yourself
