Fewer wires. Can be more convenient.

I don't like them, I use wired.

If you want wireless: Bluetooth wireless would be less prone to interference, most use RF. Lots of other wireless technologies use RF, could be on same frequency of keyboard.

well actually bluetooth operates in the 2.4ghz band much like most wireless routers and such, and i think RF mice work on similar frequencies, so neither would be less prone to inteference, if anything it could be said that bluetooth is more likely to be susceptible to interference.

Bluetooth is between 2.4ghz and 2.4835ghz.  I have read and it is a bit better.  But if someone in the same house has a bluetooth headset or other device it could cause problems.

Either way, wired is still better.  No batteries to worry about.

my point was theres tons of devices at 2.4ghz range, wireless routers, cordless telephone, microwaves, etc, so it's not like anything is going to be interference free. and really, what kind of a fool uses bluetooth headsets inside?

yeah, but then you trade no batteries for having a stupid cord. wireless keyboards are more aesthetic, practical and give you much more flexibility. there's pros and cons to everything really.

my wireless mouse runs through an insane amount of batteries!! But I never use it because AAA batteries are more expensive to buy! I only really use it when I'm studying, because it makes it easier to correct essays and assignments for some reason! =]

Which is why at the turn of the century there was this amazing invention called rechargable batteries.

The only advantage I see to having wireless stuff is the lack of wires which is great.

I think, therefore we have nothing in common
