God does not act in the modern world because his gift to man was choice, if he were to act, we would be slaves.

I suppose it is true. You arent the only one that has pointed this out. The real question is, Can any god exist?

I'm sure the white blood cells involved find god benevolent.

So by people being born with a peanut allergy, that rules out the proof of there being a benevolent God?

Yes, how could a benevolent god give a completely innocent baby an allergy that affects its entire life, possibly leading to very early, violent, and abrupt death?

Because he doesn't determine allergies.

then he isn't god "before I formed you in the womb I knew you" Im not versed with the scripture of all religions, but Im pretty sure almost all gods are creators. In fact, it doesn't matter if god determines who has peanut allergies, as long as he was the designer of the universe. The very idea that it is POSSIBLE to be born with peanut allergies disproves the existence of a benevolent god. Post edited at 7:27 pm on Oct. 6, 2009 by Orangevango

Try looking up deism, which is what the bible implies after the Old Testament, and it explains most of your problems with religion.

No, he created a universe that eventually grew to have peanut allergies as apart of it.

In deism, god created the universe, the universe does not create parts of itself, otherwise, whats the point of the god?
