Latest problem:

I had the computer cord (cord A) that came with my computer until about 8 months ago, when the wires became exposed, so I replaced it due to safety issues, even though it still worked.

Since then, I've consistenly used the new cord B. (Also, cord C in this story is the one that came with my brother's computer, but it compatable with mine.)

Anyway, last night, I'm sitting on my computer, and all of a sudden I realize that rather than charging, my battery is nearly dead, because cord B has stopped working. I try making sure everything's attached right, a different plug, everthing. It doesnt work. However, I figure it's not my computer, because cord C and cord A both work.

So I tape up cord A and start using it as a backup until I can deal with the problem.

Now, I get home from school (where, by the way, cord A worked all day), and cord A decides not to work. I do all the same tests as last night - nothing works. I try cord C, and it works, so I think "weird. Both of my cords stop working in less than 24 hours?". Then, on a whim, I try the, previously not working, cord B. Which now works.

I don't fucking understand.
